Climb the Many Steps of Stuttgart
Known as the many stairways of Stuttgart, Stäffele is the local term for ‘stairs’ and there are about 400 to 600 of them in the city. The stairs were originally built to provide access to vineyards in Stuttgart’s valley basin but now tourists walk the steps to catch breathtaking views of the city.

Known as one of the oldest parts of Stuttgart, the Bean District is a neighborhood in the city that was home to Stuttgart’s poorer population in the 16th century. The name of the district itself comes from the diet of the population that used to live there since beans were such a staple there. Now, the district since then has been renovated and many tourists visit it for its original charm.
So, if you’re looking to get a taste of the local cuisine in Stuttgart, I highly recommend doing a walking tour of the Bean District. Curling or Eisstockschiessen in Germany is a game played on the ice in the winter in which a curling stick is thrown on a track. The purpose is to get the curling stick in its target to have the upper hand in regard to your opponent.
