808 Grindz Cafe (breakfast in lahaina)
The 808 Grindz Cafe is a great place to get breakfast in Lahaina, Maui! Known as a family-owned restaurant, the cafe has two locations: Maui and Kona. In fact, despite the long wait, many visitors rave about the breakfast options in store.
These options have different menus that include but are not limited to the 808 All Day Menu, the Da Moco Menu, and the Da Griddle Menu. The 808 All Day Menu shows you all the menu items you can order at anytime of the day. The Da Moco Menu shows you all of the different menu items you can order that are similar to the Loco Moco. Lastly, the Da Griddle Menu highlights all of the different pancakes and waffles you can have with your side of choice.
So, if you’re planning to eat at the 808 Grindz Cafe for the first time in Maui, I highly recommend it. The Kilaua Pork Moco would definitely be my food of choice!
Choice Health Bar (breakfast in lahaina)
Choice Health Bar is another great breakfast spot in Lahaina, Maui! It’s known for its acai bowls and smoothies as well as its vegetarian friendly atmosphere. In fact, many visitors have even taken the time to note that the restaurant was very accommodating to their vegetarian keto restriction.
In addition, this breakfast spot is also praised for its healthy portion sizes! Not all restaurants truly take that into account, so it’s good to eat at spots that do.
So, if you’re planning to eat at the Choice Health Bar for the first time in Maui, I highly recommend it.
Their menu items are very well-priced and they even have a “Value Menu” that is used for rotating discounts.
Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop (breakfast in lahaina)
Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop is another great breakfast spot in Maui! It’s known for its pies and sandwiches as well as for being a cheap place to eat. In fact, if you were to have a pie there the least you would pay for it would be $10.
For breakfast, they also serve other menu items that include but are not limited to handcrafted sandwiches, freshly-baked bread, salads and baked goods. So, if you’re trying to decide what to order from there, you can’t go wrong with pie.
They serve all different types of it like banana pie, apple pie, lime pie and coconut. In fact, don’t be surprised if eating their pies leaves you wanting for more.
Many visitors who have tried them have always ended up coming back!
Honolua Store (breakfast in lahaina)
The Honolua Store is another great breakfast spot in Lahaina, Maui! It’s known for its great breakfast menu items as well as its mini ABC Store. ABC Stores in Maui are convenience stores located in Hawaii that are similar to a typical deli in NYC. In fact, at this breakfast spot, you can even order bubble tea which is very rare in most places.
In addition to that, the best thing about this spot is the hot food takeout that takes place really early in the morning. At their hot food takeout counter, you can order a hot breakfast from a wide selection of menu items.
So, if you’re planning to eat at the Honolua Store for the first time in Maui, I highly recommend it. Their prices are very reasonable and the food there is always very filling.
Aa Roots Maui (breakfast in lahaina)
Aa Roots Maui is another breakfast spot you can visit in Lahaina! It’s known for its acai bowls and it’s vegan and vegetarian-friendly options. In fact, some visitors even go so far to describe the spot as a plant-based dream.
In addition to the food, the portions are also huge as well which is another thing to consider. The bigger the portion size, the fuller you become.
In addition to that, you can also expect to pay $9-$13 for one menu item. The menu items offered also include but are not limited to a buddha bowl, a soba bowl, and a pinokalelotta smoothie.
So, if you’re planning to eat at Aa Roots Maui for the first time on the island, I highly recommend it. The service there is really fast and it has both indoor and outdoor seating.
Baya Bowls (breakfast in lahaina)
Baya Bowls is another great breakfast spot in Lahaina, Maui! It’s a food truck located in West Maui that’s known for serving delicious acai bowls. In fact, the ingredients used in the bowls are always the freshest to date. This freshness comes out from the flavor of the bowl as well the presentation too.
In addition to the food, the service at Baya Bowls is quick and friendly. You can even find a place to eat your food near some picnic tables nearby or you can take it on the go. Either way, it’s a great place to go for a morning stop.
So, if you’re planning to eat at the Baya Bowls for the first time in Maui, I highly recommend it.
This place is an A+ for a healthy delicious breakfast and they give generous portions for the price.
The Plantation House Restaurant (breakfast in lahaina)
The Plantation House Restaurant is another great breakfast spot in Maui. It’s a restaurant located in Lahaina that’s known for its amazing views of the coastline. In fact, the views there also overlook the plantation golf course too.
In addition to the food, it’s great for brunch! They serve several menu items that include but are not limited to the Ahi Benedict Breakfast, the Loco Moco and the fruit plate. So, if you’re looking to have breakfast with a view in Maui, I highly recommend the Plantation House Restaurant.
The food does not disappoint, and you can always come back for dinner to see the sunset too.
Castaway Cafe (breakfast in lahaina)
Castaway Cafe is another great place to get breakfast in Lahaina, Maui. Like the Plantation House Restaurant, this breakfast spot is also known for its amazing views. In fact, one visitor even went so far to express her approval since she had a table off the beach. From there, not only did she enjoy her food but she also watched the waves too.
So, if you’re looking for another breakfast spot with a view in Maui, I highly recommend Castaway Cafe. I have read nothing but good things about their service and you can even come back to watch the sunset too.
