Twin Falls (maui instagram spots)

The Twin Falls is one of the best photo spots you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to a local, you can find the falls located right along the Road to Hana. However, some of the most popular guidebooks for Maui will tell you that the Twin Falls is not worth the visit. This is because most of the time visitors do a quick drive in and out of the falls while failing to realize that there’s more to them that meets the eye. For example, Twin Falls has an access road for residents that travels the better part of a mile alongside the Ho’olawa Stream. After walking about a half mile or so, the wide path splits off into two foot-paths that fork in the general direction of Ho’olawa’s two main tributary streams. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it. To locate it, go to 6300 Hana Hwy, Haiku, HI 96708.
‘Iao Valley State Park (maui instagram spots)

‘Iao Valley State Park is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to The Hawaiian Islands, the park is known for its towering emerald peaks that guard its lush valley floor. In addition, aside from its tropical beauty, the park is also known for its historical significance. For example, this park was where the Battle of Kepaniwai took place. In this battle, King Kamehameha I clashed with Maui’s army in his quest to unite the islands. Kamehameha, in the end, defeated Maui’s forces in the battle which ultimately changed the course of Hawaiian history. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to 54 S High St, Wailuku, HI 96793. In addition, if you want to learn more about the ‘Iao Valley State Park, please click here for a video overview.
Bamboo Forest (maui instagram spots)

The Bamboo Forest is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to Love and Road, the bamboo themselves are quite pleasant to be around. In the forest, bamboo stalks line the wooden deck pathway with heights of up to 39 feet. In fact, as you hike up through the forest itself, you’ll also notice some ferns and edible flowers. There’s also some points on the hiking path where the bamboo stalks form an archway to the point where you can’t even see the sky. Not only is that incredible to see, but it’s also what makes the forest an instagrammable spot. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to Hana, HI 96713. In addition, if you want to learn more about the Bamboo Forest, please click here for a video overview.
The Sunflower Field (maui instagram spots)

The Sunflower Field is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! You can find it near The Sunflower Farm in Maui as you take in the scenery by the farm. In fact, The Sunflower Field has also been known to draw the attention of many motorists who are cruising nearby. These sunflowers, in addition, were also planted by Pacific Biodiesel, a biofuel company known for recycling used cooking oil to produce clean, renewable fuel. The company also planted the sunflowers in Maui as a way to produce the biggest biofuel crop in Hawaii. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to HI-380, Wailuku, HI 96793. In addition, if you want to learn more about The Sunflower Field, please click here for an interview with Pacific Biodiesel.
Haleakala National Park Summit (maui instagram spots)

The Haleakala National Park is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui. In fact, according to Recreation.gov, the park is home to Maui’s highest peak. The peak itself is 10,023 feet above sea level and it’s where the demigod Maui lassoed the sun. This of course obviously makes sense since the word “haleakala” translates to “house of the sun” in English. The demigod Maui lassoed the sun at the summit in order to have more sunlight, and by doing this, locals had more time to dry cloth and grow food. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to Haleakala Hwy, Kula, HI 96790. In addition, if you want to make a reservation for the summit sunrise, please click here. You can also watch a video overview about The Haleakala National Park Summit Sunrise by clicking here.
Red Hill in Haleakala National Park (maui instagram spots)

The Red Hill in Haleakala National Park is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to Haleakala Maui, The Red Hill is the highest point on Mount Haleakala. In addition, it also includes an enclosed observatory where you can see The Big Island from a great view. However, although the view is not as dramatic as the one on the valley cliffs, the view from The Red Hill is worth the visit. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to Hawaii 96790, United States. In addition, if you need a map of the trail going up to The Red Hill, please click here. The trail is great for hiking and walking and it’s open all year round. A video overview can also be watched about The Red Hill in Haleakala National Park by clicking here.
La Perouse Bay (maui instagram spots)

La Perouse Bay is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to To-Hawaii, the bay is located on Maui’s south shore in the Ahihi Kinau Natural Area Reserve. In fact, with a rocky shoreline, La Perouse Bay also has several small coves that exist between the rocky points. These small coves however are usually covered with tidal pools. Some of the coves, in addition, also have small sandy beaches whereas the rest have coral-rubble beaches. In fact, the road that tends to lead to La Perouse Bay is very narrow as well as the last stretch to the bay which is unpaved and riddled with lava rocks. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to Hawaii 96753, USA. A video overview can also be watched about La Perouse Bay by clicking here.
Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort (maui instagram spots)

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to one blogger, this spot is also known as one of the most photogenic accommodations in Maui. This is because at Andaz Maui you can take pictures of yourself at one of their luxury pools or amongst the palm trees on the way to the beach. However, the best place for a photo is right inside! This is because there’s an Aloha mural inside the resort. The mural is very colorful in person and it’s the perfect place for an Instagram post. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to 3550 Wailea Alanui Dr, Wailea, HI 96753, United States. In addition, if you’re also interested in booking some accommodation at this resort, you can do so by clicking here. A video overview can also be watched about the resort by clicking here.
Dragon’s Teeth at Makaluapuna Point (maui instagram spots)

The Dragon’s Teeth at Makaluapuna Point is another great photo spot you can visit in Maui! In fact, according to Hawaii Guide, The Dragon’s Teeth at Makaluapuna Point was created from one of the last lava flows in Maui. This is because as the lava from the West Maui Volcano poured into the ocean, fierce wind and waves forced it back and it cooled into a formation that resembles dragon’s teeth. However, the lava that created the dragon’s teeth is a little different from the rest of the lava on Maui since it is more lighter, denser, and fine-grained. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to 4946 Lower Honoapiilani Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761, United States. A video overview can also be watched about The Dragon’s Teeth at Makaluapuna Point by clicking here.
Aloha Surf Hostel (maui instagram spots)

In addition to that, there are also some beautiful brightly colored surfboards at the front of the hostel that are perfect for any Instagram post. So, if you’re planning on visiting this photo spot in Maui for the first time, I highly recommend it! To locate it, go to 221 Baldwin Ave, Paia, HI 96779, United States. In addition, if you’re also interested in booking some accommodation at this hostel, you can do so by clicking here. A video review about the hostel can also be watched by clicking here.
